Knowledge isn’t power. Knowledge is the unfounded temporary illusion of power, especially when wielded as a weapon.

Just like the man who with the Eternal Life scarab who scoffed at the need for it’s Eternal Youth companion, those who believe their exclusive knowledge affords them any influential power are missing the point; namely, that it is in fact understanding that facilitates a position of power and influence over another.

Only with true understanding can anyone influence or control another in any real sense. This understanding is impossible to achieve through observation alone.

The use of knowledge on its own produces at best a reactionary response, devoid of any true decision making, that is ultimately short-lives and contaminated with negativity:
